I’m sharing #NESCAFE in my life as part of a NESCAFE sponsored series for Socialstars™.
Summah is HERE and that means… more time with all three of my kids simultaneously! Cue dirty little feet, massive tantrums over who is driving the Power Wheel, and tons of battles over applying sunscreen. But also lots of picnics on the lawn, snuggles after naps, and stuff like popsicles for breakfast. Because, #summer.
As much as we’ll make an effort to get out and do something (anything!), sometimes it’s just not possible to have an epic outing with three kids under five in tow. I can pretty much count on being at home, in the backyard, every afternoon. And if you have kids, you KNOW how crazy the hours between naptime wakeup and dinnertime can be. Enter: afternoon iced coffee… for when it’s too early to drink wine ;).
I use the NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machine (40% off with code ValLuckyLife thru 6/14/17) which brews coffee cold with the touch of a button, which is pretty amaze because I don’t have to wait for my coffee to get cold enough to be iced. I brew up to 12oz at a time, which is the equivalent of a tall iced coffee from Starbucks (but at a $2 discount per cup). The secret to really good iced coffee: coffee ice cubes. They keep your iced coffee cold without watering it down. Genius!
Super simple – just make a 12 ounce cup of iced coffee – I used dark roast, which is also delish for breakfast – and pour the cold coffee into an ice cube tray. Since the coffee comes out of the Dolce Gusto® cold, it won’t take long for the coffee ice cubes to freeze.

Use code ValLuckyLife for 40% off your NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto machine – ends 6/14/17. It’s less expensive than most Keurig machines and you can make hot or cold coffee with it, plus fancy stuff like lattes and cappuccinos. Kind of my favorite kitchen gadget ;).
